SolidWorks® Animator Training

Course Duration:

Course Description:

This course will teach you how to create animations of SolidWorks assemblies and save them as AVI files.

 

Prerequisites:

Mechanical design experience.
Knowledge of, or experience with the WindowsTM operating system.
Completed the SolidWorks Basic Training course.

Course Outline
  • Introduction to Animator
    Describe the key characteristics of the Animator software. Identify the principal components of the Animator user interface. Set options within the Animator software.
  • Basic Animations
    Use the Animation Wizard to create simple animations. Create rotations. Create explodes and collapses.
  • Editing the Timeline
    Modify Animator timeline. Select and move key point in the timeline.
  • View Orientations
    Understand how the View Orientation can be manipulated during the animation.
  • Component Motion
    Dragging components to display motion. Using simulations to display motion. Driving animations with angle and distance mates.
