What is Dassault Systèmes License Server (DSLS)?

The Dassault Systèmes License Server (DSLS) is a utility that manages Dassault license for the products and helps to guarantee that license control is implemented in compliance with the purchased Dassault products.

DSLDS is installed on a server machine on your network.

Note: Be sure that your workstation is fully supported to install the software. For certified workstations, please go to https://www.3ds.com/support/hardware-and-software/hardware-and-software-configurations/.

Download Installation File

1. Go to: 3ds.com/support/download/
2. Select Access your Download.
3. Login using your Dassault credentials.
4. Select 3DEXPERIENCE and V6.
5. Select the appropriate Release year and select Golden from the Level drop-down menu.
6. Click the download icon under Dassault Systèmes License Server (DSLS) to download.

Unzip Files

We recommend by using 7-Zip to unzip the files. If you do not have 7-Zip, you can download it by their website, click here.

1. Right-click on the downloaded file and go to 7-Zip->Extract Here.

2. Open folder DSLS.AllOS.

3. Open folder 1.

4. Right click on SetupDSLSmsi.exe->Run as administrator.

Install DSLS

1. In the Setup window, click Next.
2. Leave default settings and click Next.
3. Click on Allow access in the Windows Security Alert prompt.
4. Click Install.

Enrol License to DSLS

Once the installation has finished, the License Administration Tool will launch automatically:

1. Click OK.
2. Open the Servers drop-down menu and click Connect > localhosts.
3. Once connected, open the License drop-down menu and click Enrol.
4. Locate the license files you wish to enrol in the Open dialog window and select them.
5. Click Open.
