Linear / Nonlinear Dynamic Analysis

Nonlinear dynamic analysis helps to determine the stresses and deformations of your design under most general loading and material conditions for:

  • Dynamic (time dependent) loads
  • Contact Problems
  • Large deformations
  • Nonlinear materials, such as rubber or metals, beyond their yield point

Nonlinear studies are employed when the linear analysis assumptions are violated. These studies are more complex but provide highly accurate results.
Linear dynamic analysis helps to calculate the response of models by accumulating the contribution of each mode to the loading environment. The loads change with time or frequency. The following are studies which can be done by Nonlinear Dynamics:
