Title: Rapid Development of 3D Concept Structure with 3DEXPERIENCE Modelling and Simulation (MODSIM)
The conceptual design phase of the structure can be quite complex. Multiple aspects needs to be taken into account, such as overall design, weights, loads and structural requirements. Although optimization of the proposed design should be performed in earlier design phases, it can be quite arduous, an a lot of cases, is pushed to a later design cycle.
To analyze the structure also typically involves the number of disparate and disconnected tools which can cause issues for any enterprise infrastructure. Lack of connectivity and traceability can make the end-to end workflow overly difficult and time-consuming.
Thus, this seminar introduces a new solution in concept structure engineer and shows how the 3DEXPERIENCE platform can provide integrated modelling and simulation (MODSIM) capabilities to more quickly streamline the conceptual design of a structure, to provide a more optimized and robust product in the earlier design stage.
